Need A Decision In Principle?
When putting an offer on mortgage, an estate agent will usually not accept the offer until a decision in principle has been obtained.
A decision in principle is where a specific mortgage lender has agreed:
'That in principle based on the figures that have been input about your income and the mortgage required, that they will lend the money'.
This therefore requires you to know which lender you want to use...
Each decision in principle (with each different lender) credit scores you and this can leave ‘footprints’ on your credit file.
Doing many over a short period of time can have the effect of lowering your credit score. Which can be a problem when you go to make the actual application!
It is therefore important to know who you want to use...
And normally you will want to use the cheapest lender so that you are paying the lowest amount possible to buy the house.
We will help you find the lowest rate mortgage so you are making one decision in principle to the lender right for you.
We will help you to:
- Find the cheapest mortgage on the market
- Assess you details against the lender to ensure that it fits their lending criteria
- Complete the decision in principle for you
- Email it straight to you (and to the estate agent if you want us to)
- No cost or obligation beyond completing a short request form
In many circumstances this can be done within just 20-30 minutes.
To get a decision in principle, just fill in your name, email and phone number in the short form below. We will be in contact as quickly as possible to talk it through with you.
YOUR HOME / PROPERTY MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE.
